Our history

1947

Aldo Valentini and René Paris invent the first electric fryer with a heating element immersed in oil, a world first. They name it "Série T". In the 1950s, Fredy Wenger, pictured here with René Paris, joins the adventure, replacing Aldo Valentini.

1952

The company Comptoir des Machines SA is officially founded in Lausanne, and the « 53 » model, a white enameled fryer with an oval or round tank, is launched on the market. Fredy Wenger then joins the company, which has its offices on Rue des Terreaux in Lausanne.

1961

Needing larger spaces, the company moves its first factory to Chemin de la Forêt in Ecublens.

1966

The first stainless steel fryers are developed and marketed over the years. The range is also expanded with other professional appliances such as plate warmers and pasta cookers.

1967

Bernard Paris, son of founder René Paris, joins the family business.

1987

On December 2, 1987, the company officially becomes Valentine Fabrique SA. This name pays tribute to Aldo Valentini, who designed the very first fryer in 1947.

1990

The company expanded with the construction of a new building right next to the Renens train station, near the original factory. This new facility houses the assembly and administration departments, complementing the existing factory, which is now dedicated to sheet metal work.

2000

Thanks to continuous research and innovation, the "V2000" range of professional fryers, featuring a brand new, seamless, pressed tank without right angles, was launched on the market.

2010

With Christophe Paris, grandson of the founder, the 3rd generation takes over the reins of the company, successfully perpetuating its family values.

2012

Each decade brings its innovation! The "EVO" range of professional fryers is launched, available in multiple models and sizes.

2014

To meet its growing needs, the company moves to new premises in Romanel-sur-Morges, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Bringing the entire team under one roof, this new factory enables Valentine to ensure sustainable growth, in line with its ambitions.

2022

To mark its 70th anniversary, the company invites its long-standing partners to a celebratory event and welcomes the general public during an Open Day. A moment of sharing appreciated by all!

2025

Upholding the values of the Swiss Made label – quality, precision and expertise – the company launches its new range of professional fryers, "The CORE".

Celebrating the notions of sharing and family tradition, Valentine Fabrique continues its expansion while remaining a human-sized company attentive to its customers, one of its most cherished wishes. Building long-term relationships of trust, we make it a point of honor to offer a personalized service to meet the requirements of our partners.
